Dr. Kevin Lowden graduated from New York
University College of Dentistry in 1998 with a DDS degree. In his studies
at NYU, he was in the comprehensive care honor and crown and bridge honor
programs. He then matched at the University of North Carolina at Chapel
Hill for his three-year prosthodontic specialty training, graduating in
2001 with a Speciality Certification in Prosthodontics and a Masters of
Science in Prosthodontics. While in residency, Dr. Lowden received an
“outstanding graduate student scholarship”, served as the
chief clinical resident, was a clinical instructor and lectured on prosthodontics
and implant dentistry. His Master’s thesis was devoted to dental
implant placement and radiographic techniques.
Dr. Lowden has lectured on prosthodontics
and implant therapy and serves as a consultant to dentists and dental
technicians on implant restorations. He is a member of the American College
of Prosthodontics, Academy of Osseointegration and the American Dental
Association.
